InfoEd Instructions

The InfoEd System is used for the following:

  • Grants and contracts routing, submission and tracking
  • Awards Tracking
  • Human subjects protocol submission, review and tracking
  • Conflict of interest submission, review and tracking
  • Reporting

Below are relevant instructions and documents for using InfoEd:

How to Login to InfoEd

Step 1: Go to InfoEd eRA Portal (Recommended browsers are Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome)

Step 2: Enter your InfoEd login Username in the first box (This is the same username as your university credentials, my.cu.edu portal or CU Outlook email system)

Step 3: Click on the Campus drop-down and select Denver

Step 4: Click the blue Sign In Button

 

Your screen Login may contain messages about the browser not being compatible and/or supported. Do not be concerned nor cancel your login if you are using Firefox or Chrome.

 

If you have not logged into the CU network in several months your password may have expired. If you receive a message that your password must be reset contact CU OIT (Office of Inforamation Technology) at 303-724-4357 (on Campus 4-HELP) or by emailing OIT.

In an effort to assist in the production of more accurate research funding data, we have updated permissions in InfoEd for PIs and department staff to allow for the update of specific proposal status history updates when the sponsor of an application has made a funding decision. This will aid in closing data loops that exist in research funding reports.

The statuses available for  update will be 1.) ‘Not Used’, 2.) ‘Withdraw – PI Request’, 3.) ‘PI/Dept – Submitted to Sponsor’ and 4.) ‘Turned Down.’ The  ‘Submitted to Sponsor’ and “Awarded’ status updates will continue to be updated by OGC
