Staff and providers who work in any UCHealth hospital or clinic building must wear a medical-grade procedural or surgical mask, beginning Wednesday, Nov 4. This includes administrative employees.
As the community incidence rate and test positivity rate increase, UCHealth’s infectious disease and infection prevention experts now strongly recommend that all staff and providers wear eye protection in all patient care interactions.
Research Related Subject Injury is defined as a medical condition which is caused by and/or directly related to the research study. That is, the condition would not have existed but for the subject’s participation in the study and which is in need of diagnosis and treatment as a matter of medical necessity.
Effective November 1, 2020, UCHealth will adopt a CMS x 250% research charge master (CM) methodology - this system wide rate will be for all industry sponsored studies. Federally funded studies as well as investigator initiated trials (IITs) will remain at the CMS rate.
