If a study is very slow enrolling, or has to pause enrollment, then later is closed, the P.I. must make the decision to close the study and submit a delay request before the results would have been due, i.e., before 1 year after the Primary Completion Date.

NIH launched the UNITE initiative in March of 2021 to address structural racism in the biomedical research enterprise. Through this initiative, NIH is holding a series of listening sessions to learn from external stakeholders about the full range of issues and challenges in advancing racial and ethnic equity in the biomedical research enterprise.
This workshop is intended for Junior Faculty, Fellows, and Residents of all disciplines pursuing a mentored research project. The first session will begin in January 2022.
