COMIRB Letters Update
Nov 25, 2020COMIRB is simplifying the format of our Approval, Minor-Modification and Deferral letters. For Deferral and Minor-Modification letters, any questions and concerns will be stated at the beginning of the letter. Common IRB regulatory determinations will be stated in the Approval letters, and any other COMIRB determinations will only be included in IRB minutes but not in Approval letters. HIPAA regulatory determinations will also be included in the Approval letter and COMIRB will no longer issue separate HIPAA letters.
