NIH has released NOT-OD-25-132, a new policy aimed at promoting fairness and originality in peer review.

A key change: Principal Investigators (PIs) may now submit up to six proposals per year to NIH. This is a significant shift designed to encourage broader participation and reduce reviewer burden. 

Additionally, NIH has published a detailed FAQ addressing the use of generative AI in peer review and proposal development. All researchers and administrators are encouraged to review these guidelines to ensure compliance and uphold the integrity of NIH submissions.
