Streamlining Intercampus Subs: Task Orders Replacing FDP Templates Soon
Contracting Services
Mar 11, 2026Contract leadership has spent the past year revising the AB Nexus Master Collaboration Agreement between the Anschutz and Boulder campuses to formally add the Denver campus. This update will enable us to begin using the Task Order process for the Denver campus starting in 2026.
In addition, we have revamped the Task Order template itself to make it more user‑friendly and remove unnecessary information.
What to Expect if You Support the Anschutz Campus:
- The new Task Order format will roll out sometime in 2026 and will apply to all incoming and outgoing subawards with Boulder.
What to Expect if You Support the Denver Campus:
- For outgoing subawards, the new Task Order template will replace the current FDP template.
- Only the passthrough entity signs the Task Order. This means:
- For outgoing subs to Boulder: Boulder will review and provide comments but will no longer need to sign.
- For incoming subs from Boulder: The Task Order will only require Boulder's signature. You will still route incoming Task Orders to OGC for review; however, OGC will provide approval only and no signature will be required.
