We are hearing news that the federal government shutdown is in process of coming to an end. We expect that as this occurs it will take some time for the government to catch up on tasks affecting post award.

 Some of the included items are listed below.

• We are awaiting a small number of non-competing continuations of projects with budget start dates after 10/1. Along with any new awards that would have been issued during this time period.  
• We have been continuing to submit FFR’s via PMS to the federal however there is a backlog for their acceptance by the federal government, we expect to see review starting on those.
• Prior approval requests in NIH Commons have continued to be submitted but have not been reviewed; those are mostly outstanding and awaiting approval.
• Payments for Letter of Credit draws have not been an issue and have been made throughout the shutdown, and we expect that to continue without delays.
