Help expedite the review process by attaching details and pertinent backup in the requisition and providing copy to your post award pod team. Addressing potential audit inquiries in advance not only facilitates review of the requisition, but it documents adherence to cost principles for future reference.

Fringe Benefit Update

The fringe benefit rates for the current fiscal year remains at 2.25% with Mental Health account codes changing from 0.04% to 0.11% and Workers Compensation fringe account from 0.20% to 0.13%. PET Salary workbook will be updated and please reach out to OGC Post Award if you have any questions regarding changes.

Over Billing Limit Notifications

There has been a recent improvement made to Over Limit notifications. You can now find the PI Name on the notice.  In the header you will see it listed as a line item. Example below.

PaymentWorks

Many sponsors have adopted PaymentWorks for payment processing services. This portal has security features appealing to sponsors from an AP perspective, though presents challenges from an accounts receivable perspective. Our teams are coordinating with sponsors to navigate PaymentWorks obstacles including updating the payment remission address to the new PO Box in Dallas, TX. As part of this effort we have found often sponsors are prompting creation of a new Vendor ID, where we could minimize efforts and link to an existing shared ID.

We’re requesting your assistance in this matter. In correspondence where sponsors dictate PaymentWorks registration is required, please coordinate with our AR team at [email protected]. We’ll be able to provide the Vendor ID for our existing account and/or create a new central Vendor ID.
