Remove Outdated Attachments When Copying InfoEd Proposals
Pre-Award
Jul 13, 2026The Copy Proposal function in InfoEd is a great way to save time when preparing a new proposal. However, after copying a proposal, be sure to review and remove any attachments that are no longer applicable to the new submission.
The OGC PreAward Team has recently seen an increase in copied proposals containing outdated attachments and artifacts from previous submissions. These legacy documents can slow the institutional review process and often result in unnecessary comments and revision requests.
As a best practice, start with a clean set of attachments when creating a copied proposal. Upload only the documents required for the current application to help streamline proposal review, reduce confusion, and ensure a more efficient submission process.
