What is the TIN?
Mar 25, 2020The Trial Innovation Network (TIN) is a collaborative national network within the CTSA Program to support innovation in multi-center clinical trials and studies. The vision for the TIN is to innovatively address critical roadblocks in clinical trials and accelerate the translation of novel interventions into life-saving therapies. The TIN features a single IRB system, master contracting agreements, quality by design approaches, and a focus on evidence-based strategies to recruitment and patient engagement by leveraging the expertise and resources of the CTSA Program. The goal of the TIN is to not only execute trials better, faster, and more cost-efficiently but also, importantly, to be a national laboratory to study, understand and innovate the process of conducting clinical trials.
Projects that utilize TIN services can originate at UC Denver or originate elsewhere with UC Denver selected as a network site. All proposals should be reviewed and approved by the local TIN Hub Liaison Team and PI prior to submission. To learn more about the process or connect with the local TIN Hub Liaison Team, contact the Project Manager at benjamin.echalier@ucdenver.edu or visit the Trial Innovation Network page.
