Vaccine Boosters

The FDA has now authorized Moderna COVID-19 vaccine booster shots and have recommended booster shots for anyone that is > 2 months from J&J administration. This means anyone who meets the FDA and CDC criteria may now get a booster shot and people may mix and match any of the available vaccines. The booster shot does not need to be the same manufacturer as their original vaccination series.

Qualifying individuals include:

• Anyone 65 years or older
• Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
• Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
• Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings
