Guidelines for Research involving Human Subjects during COVID-19

Importantly, for new projects, face-to-face research activities will be adjudicated during the facility review through the HSR Portal. Please indicate the clinical area in which you would like to hold your research activities so that the clinical departments at UCHealth can review/approve these activities. As of May 17, 2021, a separate email seeking permission for the project to be conducted is no longer required.

For projects requesting an SIV or site visit, study teams can request permission from the UCHealth clinical or ancillary department where their research is performed. UCHealth departmental leadership will determine if they are allowing visitors in their area and if they can accommodate this request.
