Updates

If you receive a SSUA from a sponsor, or if it is your department’s practice to ask sponsors to sign an SSUA prior to executing the CTA, please note the following:

• Submit through the HSR Portal with the rest of the project materials, as the agreement will be reviewed by the same CRAO contracts reviewer assigned to the CTA.
• Submit through InfoEd to have an account set up to collect the funds the sponsor will pay under the SSUA. CRAO will not execute the agreement without the InfoEd routing.
• Do not email an SSUA (sponsor’s template or UCD template) directly to CRAO reviewers.

Remember that the utility of an SSUA is limited if the SSUA prolongs initial budget review/negotiation and thus delays execution of the CTA. CRAO’s priority will remain CTA execution, so please let the sponsor know that both agreements will need to move forward concurrently.
