Lab Audits

RSIH personnel conduct scheduled audits annually of every laboratory on both campuses, looking at:

• IBC approvals
• Completion of EHS Skillsoft training requirements and on-the-job training
• Storage of chemicals and chemical waste
• Biological safety
• Existence and condition of standard facility equipment (e.g., lights, floors) and emergency response equipment (e.g., safety showers, eyewash)
• Personal protective equipment
• General safety items

• On-the-Job General Safety Training
• Satellite Accumulation Area Inspection Log
• DEA Initial/Biennial Inventory and Controlled Substances Use Log 
• Select Agent Toxin Ongoing Use Log
