Export Control Policy
The University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus is fully committed to complying with all United States (U.S.) export control laws and regulations. As an accredited U.S. academic institution, the vast majority of the University's activities are shielded from Export Controls under certain exemptions including the Fundamental Research, Educational Information, and Public Information Exclusions. However, export controls impact other activities, including but not limited to hiring practices, international collaborations, shipping, and international travel, among others.
To ensure compliance with these laws, University activities will be managed in accordance with applicable Federal laws, rules and regulations, and institutional policies and procedures. Pursuant to University policy, all personnel, including faculty, staff, students, visiting scientists and scholars, postdoctoral fellows, and all other persons retained by or working at the University are required to comply with all U.S. laws and regulations as they relate to institutional activities.
