Greetings,
You are receiving this notice because our records indicate that you meet one or more of the following criteria and are required to submit a University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus (University) 2023-2024 Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosure: University faculty (assistant professor and above); officers; staff with fiscal roles; staff who negotiate and/or execute sponsored research and similar agreements on behalf of the University; central administration offices (certain positions such as Advancement and CU Innovations); individuals who are engaged in research; and others upon request of the COI Office.
Covered Individuals are required to submit a COI Disclosure annually during the fall collection period and thereafter as required by policy as listed below:
- For grant personnel, the COI Disclosure is due before a grant proposal may be sent to applicable sponsors (per Office of Grants and Contracts policy);
- For protocol personnel, the COI Disclosure is due before an IRB protocol submission(initial, applicable amendment or continuing review) will be reviewed (per IRB policy);
- For personnel hired or promoted into an applicable job code after July 21, 2023, the COI Disclosure is due within 60 days of the hire or job change date unless required to submit earlier due to a grant or protocol (see 1 and 2 above);
- For all other Covered Individuals not identified in 1, 2 or 3 above, the COI Disclosure is due October 31, 2023.
Please note that submission of the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus COI Disclosure does not substitute for conflict of interest disclosures that may be required by affiliated hospitals (e.g., UCHealth, Denver Health), nor do affiliate hospital conflict of interest disclosures substitute for this COI Disclosure.
