The CRIO office is the sole CU Anschutz office intended to coordinate governance pertaining to data and informatics infrastructure across all campus units and in partnership with the hospitals.
Support strategic investments in campus/hospital-wide architecture and programs and provide end-to-end project coordination: requirements, resource allocation and/or definition, project design and management, measuring outcomes and return on investment, and defining sustainability strategies.
Coordinate and promote existing informatics resources and units to support a robust ecosystem of data, analytics, expertise, and education across campus
The Council is a formal decision making body that is empowered to make evidence-based decisions and provide governance and authority regarding data, informatics, and infrastructure assets.
The Council membership represents all CU Anschutz schools and affiliate hospitals. Members will be appointed based on leadership recommendations and diversity and inclusion across campus units and demographics.
The CRIO council will collaborate with projects and programs relating to integration of campus data resources and analytics that use those data, and will help coordinate working groups or standing committees to ensure quality integration and efficiency.
The Council will determine requirements, design and manage projects with identified partners, evaluate opportunities and risks, and develop and monitor evaluation metrics for campus-wide informatics and data resource development and deployment.
The Council remit, mission, and operating procedures are currently being defined and will be made publicly available. Feedback is welcome.
