An ORCID iD is a unique alphanumeric code that researchers can carry throughout their careers. This helps improve the discoverability of the work and eliminates name ambiguity. Up-to-date ORCiD profiles are becoming increasingly required by NIH, scientific journals, and other systems for researchers.

ORCiD Project Goals
The main goal of the ORCiD project is to encourage faculty/staff/students across Anschutz to build and curate ORCiD profiles that can be used as a source of truth for research activity documentation (grants, publications) and eventually integrate ORCID-related content into other campus systems. CU Anschutz can use your ORCiD profile to showcase your work and provide information for grant tables.
