Upcoming Change to Data Delivery Service Billing
Starting July 1
Health Data Compass Data Delivery Services will transition to a project-based hourly billing model. All projects, including smaller or previous no-cost requests, will be billable. Existing scoped and quoted projects will be honored at the agreed-upon price. More details are coming soon on our Data Delivery Services page.
Data Delivery Services
Our services are available to employees of UCHealth, Children's Hospital Colorado, CU Medicine Practice Group, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Compass integrates various patient data from UCHealth, CU Medicine Practice Group, and CU Anschutz Medical Campus and is further augmented by additional publicly available data. Our data warehouse is hosted in the Google Cloud Platform, so we can leverage the power of the cloud to build large custom datasets. Data from UCHealth is available from when Epic went live at each site, including UCHealth-AMC from 2011, and is refreshed weekly.
Our deidentified self-service applications are available to employees of Compass's partners. These applications include TriNetX and Data Explorer Dashboards via Tableau. These tools support high-level data exploration, feasibility analyses, and enable access to analytical datasets at your fingertips. Our Self-Service Data Delivery service is free for our campus partners.

Our Data Delivery Team will work with you to develop a custom data extract to support research or quality improvement initiatives. By working with a data analyst, you can access pretty much any discrete data element in the electronic medical record or in any of our various external data sources. Effective March 3, 2024, Custom Data Delivery projects will incur a fee. To view our pricing, click here.
