NEW: Federal Transition Updates for Researchers Webpage

The CU Anschutz Medical Campus leadership, the University of Colorado's federal relations team and legal counsel are working closely to monitor the transitions and to better understand the potential impacts on our research community. We are committed to updating the campus community as early and as often as possible whenever definitive changes can be communicated.

Community & Off-Campus Research Reconstitution

Key Principles:

  • Follow Local, State and National Public Health Directives
  • Work closely with our community partners and community sites to ensure in-person research activities are conducted in as safe a manner as possible to ensure the health and well-being of research personnel and research participants (whenever possible, visits should still be done remotely)

With the recent changes to campus guidelines and local health authority announcements, we will no longer be requiring the training or the review of Community based research protocols as of March 15, 2022.

Please follow local guidelines for safety management of subjects and staff, or prescribed CDC guidelines where appropriate. If you have any questions or need guidance regarding safety protocols and following of local regulations and guidelines, the committee is still available for assistance. Please see FAQ for contact information.
