Radiation Safety Refresher

Required annually for all personnel who handle radioactive materials in any form as part of their work

This annual refresher course is required for all who have taken the initial Radiation Safety course, online or in person. This course covers the essential information from the initial training, including radiation basics, safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials, performing surveys, and selecting shielding. 

Do not take this course if you need to take the initial training. You will not receive credit for this course if you have been asked to complete the Radiation Safety Initial course.

All personnel at the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus who handle radioactive materials in any form as part of their work.
