Follow Local, State and National Public Health Directives
Work closely with our community partners and community sites to ensure in-person research activities are conducted in as safe a manner as possible to ensure the health and well-being of research personnel and research participants (whenever possible,
visits should still be done remotely)
Individual research activation plans based on the framework document outlining issues to be addressed developed by the Community Research Taskforce
Each plan to be reviewed by the Community Research Ramp up committee
Any travel needs prior approval from the Dean of the appropriate school
All faculty and staff must take one hour COVID safety training
The community based research principles & framework document and process applies to any research that is conducted by faculty and staff at CU Anschutz that is not covered by:
Laboratory Reconstitution Plan
Clinical Research Reconstitution Plan
CU Anschutz Principles and Framework for Clinical Research Ramp Up Or Human subject research involving research activities conducted outside of the United States of America for which CU Anschutz Faculty and Staff are responsible
Human subject research involving research activities conducted outside of the United States of America for which CU Anschutz Faculty and Staff are responsible is currently on hold and will follow a separate ramp-up process.
If all the research data collection is being done remotely by phone, redcap surveys, e-consent, telehealth etc. then IRB approval of any amendments to adjust to the new COVID environment is required but a re-activation plan is not required. IRB approval only is sufficient.
