2026 Institutional Biosafety Committee Schedule
The application deadline is noon (12:00 MT) on the indicated date. Late applications will not be accepted.
IBC protocol applications undergo administrative prereview prior to review by the full IBC at a monthly, convened meeting. Any application that is found to be incomplete or otherwise unprepared for full IBC review will be returned to the Principal Investigator with recommendations for completion. To ensure review at the desired IBC meeting date, applications will need to be resubmitted as early as possible (which may be 3-4 months prior to the IBC protocol's current expiration date for de novo/renewal applications).

Applications receive prereview prior to full committee review at a monthly, convened meeting performed by the IBC. Any application requiring revision prior to full committee review (FCR) will be returned to the laboratory with recommendations for completion. Please note that revised applications will need to be resubmitted within the Cayuse protocol system to the IBC Office before noon (12:00 MT) on the deadline indicated.
To ensure review at the desired meeting date (outlined in the other tab), the application will need to be submitted as early as possible. A workflow diagram for the submission/review process is outlined in the respective hyperlinks below.
