Conflict of Interest
Identifying conflicts through rigorous, consistent review of annual disclosures.
CU Denver | Anschutz encourages and supports outside interactions of its faculty and student employees with federal, state and local governments, and with business and industry as important parts of their research, education and public service activities. Each year, employees with such interactions are required to complete a Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosure. Employees who are required to submit Conflict of Interest Disclosures are contacted directly by the university.
New for 2026: Updated COI Form
During the 2025 and 2026 calendar years, the Conflict of Interest, Research Information Technology and University Information Services Teams partnered on a major project to update the COI Disclosure Form to improve the user experience and data integrity. After successful user testing in spring 2026, the new form will be available on August 12, 2026, for the FY2027 disclosure period.
Of Note: One-Time Change for This Year's Process
Because of the update to the COI eForm, information submitted by employees in prior years will not automatically populate into this year's form, meaning that employees will need to start anew; however, information that was submitted in prior years can be exported from InfoEd and used as a reference for completing this year's form.
Information submitted for FY2027 and subsequent COI Disclosure periods will auto-populate in InfoEd for employees' convenience. Instructions and resources for completing the form in the new software can be found below.
