This course will cover methods for recruiting and retaining people for clinical research studies. We briefly discuss challenges in recruiting people for clinical research and motivating factors for why people engage in clinical research. Most of the course is spent discussing recruitment methods including in-person, referral, electronic, and advertisements. We review recruitment barriers and consider a variety of solutions. We end our time together by reviewing CU Anschutz recruitment resources available to you.
