The purpose of the study is to compare two different physical activity interventions (BREAK or ONE) to learn about their effects on blood sugar and metabolism. Participants will be randomized to one of two interventions: ONE (45-minutes of brisk walking at least 5 days per week) and BREAK (5-minute bouts of walking 9 times a day on at least 5 days per week).
You may be eligible if you are:
1) Postmenopausal
2) Woman ages 50 years or older
3) No uncontrolled high blood pressure
4) Non-smoking
5) No history of cancer, diabetes, or cardiovascular/heart disease
6) No use of hormone therapy currently or in the last 6 months

We are conducting a study among women aged 18-30 who have regular menstrual cycles, are not using hormonal birth control, and have a body mass index between 18. 5-24.9 or 30-45 kg/m2.
We are looking for volunteers to participate in a research study to receive a vaccine or placebo to help researchers learn more about how to prevent Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) illness in infants and children. Your child can participate if they have a healthy immune system and have never had an illness caused by RSV.
Research study participants will be randomized to exercise either in the morning or in the evening. Volunteers will receive a free 13-month exercise program and access to the Anschutz Health and Wellness Fitness Center.
You may qualify for this research study if you meet the following criteria:
• Adult between 18 and 55 years old
• Generally healthy without diabetes or heart disease
• Non-smoker
• Not currently exercising more than 150 minutes per week
• Overweight or Obese (BMI between 25.0 and 40.0 kg/m2)
• Do not regularly work overnight shifts

The University of Colorado Asthma Research Team is currently recruiting both controls and asthmatic participants for a study evaluating the impact a new treatment has on patients with excess weight.
Postmenopausal women are needed for a research study testing the effect of a single-dose equol supplementation on blood vessel function.
Participation will include 3 or 4 in-person visits lasting between 2 to 6 hours each.
- Monthly visits to the University of Colorado CTRC over a period of 16 weeks
- Blood, urine & stool sample collections
- Four, 4-week periods with daily consumption of various study foods such as salmon, beef, oatmeal, cheesecake, walnuts, red peppers, avocado & chickpeas
This study evaluates the effect of long term cannabis/marijuana smoking on lung health.
- Volunteers should be between ages 21-55
- No history of alcohol abuse, tobacco, or other recreational drug abuse
- No chronic medical conditions
Healthy Cannabis users between ages 21 and 55 years:
1) Daily or near daily cannabis use
2) Never or limited smoking or use of inhaled tobacco products
3) No history of chronic respiratory, cardiac, liver or renal disease
Healthy Control subjects between ages 21 and 55 years:
1) No cannabis use ever
2) Never used tobacco products

The LUNA Study is recruiting participants who are interested in using Cannabidiol (CBD) to reduce symptoms of their concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). To qualify for this study you must be interested in reducing your TBI and concussion symptoms (sleep disturbance, pain, anxiety) with CBD.
If you were pregnant in the last three years and have NEVER had COVID, you may be eligible to join the RECOVER study.
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
1. Free weight loss program led by a registered dietician
2. A weight loss diet plan based on either daily calorie restriction or time restricted eating (limiting eating to an 8 hour window each day)
3. Assessment of body composition and lab values
Study participation lasts approximately 1 year.
