Cellular Airway Differences Between Asthmatics and Non-asthmatics

Researchers at the University of Colorado are seeking volunteers for an asthma research study looking at BOTH asthmatics and non-asthmatics. We are looking into how body weight and metabolic syndrome impact the cellular make-up of airway tissue. We are looking for volunteers WITH and WITHOUT asthma.

"SPOTLIGHT": Skeletal Response to Simulated Night Shift

Eligibility:

  • Healthy man or woman (not pregnant) aged 20-40 years old.
  • Premenopausal women must be on continuous oral contraception pills.
  • Habitually sleep 7-9 hours/night.
  • No night shift work in the past year.
  • A non-smoker.

The Influence of Combined Oral Contraceptives on Weight: A 6-month Observational Study

Reproductive age women (18-40 years old) with a BMI between 25-45 and who are not using hormonal birth control but willing to start the Sprintec pill are needed in a research study seeking to understand if starting a combined oral contraceptive pill can lead to changes in weight, body composition and appetite over time.
