Is chronic low back pain starting before the age of 45? Interested in being seen by an expert rheumatologist and getting a free MRI that international experts will review?
Effects of Your Genetics on the Contraceptive Implant (Nexplanon)
Do you currently have the birth control implant (Nexplanon) and have had it for 1 to 4 years? Are you interested in participating in a research study to better understand how genetic differences affect how well contraceptives work? One visit lasts 30 minutes and includes a questionnaire and a blood draw.
The Brain Body Connection (BBC)
This study is being done to
look at the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of the Nexplanon implant
beyond three years of usage in preventing pregnancy. We are also interested in
how extending its usage beyond the current FDA approval of 3 years affects the
menstrual cycle and whether complications arise once it is removed.
Food Intake and the Adolescent Brain
Seeking volunteers age 13-18 to study the brain's response to sugar and how it contributes to food intake in adolescents.
The Effect of Rifampin on Etonogestrel Concentrations in Contraceptive Implant Users
The purpose of this study is to learn how the antibiotic drug, Rifampin, may affect the breakdown of etonogestrel in Nexplanon® users. Rifampin is an antibiotic commonly used to treat latent tuberculosis infections.
