Volunteers needed for research study on myocardial inflammation and thrombosis following vaccination against SARS-CoV-2.

Does your child have symptoms of bipolar disorder? We are looking for children, teens, and young adults (ages 9 to 19 years) who have moods that alternate between depression and periods of excessive energy and activity. Participants will get a full diagnostic evaluation from a psychologist/psychiatrist team, along with recommendations for medical and psychological treatment. Those accepted into the study will be seen by a study-affiliated psychiatrist that specializes in mood disorders for up to 12 months.

This trial has a 16 week feeding study of two dietary interventions: Mediterranean-amplified habitual/ Western (mini-MED) diet and a Habitual/Wester (Western) diet. Participation involves biweekly visits to the University of Colorado CTRC over a period of 20 weeks, blood, urine & stool sample collections, and four, 4-week periods with daily consumption of various study foods such as salmon, beef, oatmeal, cheesecake, walnuts, red peppers, avocado & chickpeas.
Dr. Christina Metcalf at the University of Colorado is investigating how early life experiences affect thinking, mood, and stress during the menopause transition. Study participation consists of five study sessions (all completed virtually from your home), over the course of 2 months. These visits will consist of questionnaires about your mood and some stressful life events; thinking and mood assessments; collection of hair, saliva, and blood microsamples; and a stress task. Participants will receive compensation via e-gift cards for completing study activities.

This research study aims to learn more about the safety and effectiveness of a drug called sargramostim for improving cognitive function and memory in people with Alzheimer's disease. Participants will be asked to participate in weekly visits for 24 weeks (6 months), as well as screening and follow-up visits that include cognitive testing, twice weekly blood draws, heart tracing (ECG), health questionnaires, study partner questionnaires, lumbar puncture (spinal tap), MRI, PET scan and treatment/placebo injection 5x a week during the treatment phase. Health insurance is not needed for this study: study-related care and medication at no cost and compensation provided.
Eligibility:
Participation involves two research visits over the course of two years. Procedures Include Memory and thinking tests, Health history questionnaires, Blood sample, Spinal fluid sample, MRI of brain, SARS-CoV-2 antibody test(results provided). Eligible volunteers should be 60 years or older, recovered from COVID-19 or never tested positive for COVID-19, in good health and not been diagnosed with a memory disorder.
