Interested candidates must send a one-page summary of their research proposal and their biosketch in pdf format via the Limited Submission Portal.
The purpose of this program is to provide information, education, technical assistance, and peer support to families of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and the professionals who serve them.
Scholar (Career Development Award)
St. Baldrick’s Foundation invites institutions to submit one application for the Scholar (Career Development) award.
The Scholar (Career Development) Award is meant to help develop the independent research of highly qualified individuals still early in their careers. This is an early-career award. The Scholar award is intended to develop the independent pediatric cancer research careers of highly qualified investigators, not to support well established or senior investigators. The award can be up to $110,000/year and is for a two-year minimum.
Institutions may submit only one (1) application. Prepare a 1-2 page description of the proposed research project including the rationale for the project and its significance to childhood cancer. Include a brief timeline for the progression of the research.
St. Baldrick’s Foundation invites institutions to submit one application for the International Scholar Award.
This three year award is to train researchers from low- and middle- income countries (as classified by the World Bank) to prepare them to fill specific stated needs in an area of childhood cancer research upon returning to their country of origin.
Institutions may submit only one (1) application. Prepare a 1-2 page description of the proposed research project including the rationale for the project and its significance to childhood cancer. Include a brief timeline for the progression of the research.
Track 1: Planning or Pilot Projects (PPP) -- track provides a funding opportunity for institutions that are new to NSF5 or are Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs6).
Track 2: Implementation and Evaluation Projects (IEP) full proposal deadline. Track supports the implementation of evidence-based unit-, department-, or multi-department-level activities that will enhance the quality of undergraduate STEM education.
Track 3: The Institutional Transformation Projects (ITP) track supports institution-wide structural or systemic changes to enhance undergraduate STEM education at the proposing HSI.
Translational Research Scholars Program (TRSP)

The Lorna Grindlay Moore, PhD Faculty Launch Fund
The CU Denver and CU Anschutz Medical Campus proudly announce the next call for applications for the Lorna Grindlay Moore, PhD, Faculty Launch Award.
Eligible Instructors and Assistant Professors are invited to apply for a one-year award of $40,000 to help launch their independent research programs. Faculty may be appointed in any of the schools or colleges of the CU Denver or CU Anschutz campuses whose research is centered on women’s health during and after the reproductive period.
Appropriate areas include, but are not limited to pregnancy, family planning, infertility, oncology, education, public policy, mental health, cardiovascular health, diabetes, advancing the academic careers of women faculty and the effect of COVID-19 on women’s health.
