Research about IUD Displacement With Menstrual Cup Insertion and Removal
Participation will include 1 study visit. Participation will consist of a pelvic exam, 3 transvaginal ultrasounds, and 2 menstrual cup insertions and removals.
The American Lung Association (ALA) Lung Health Cohort
Inclusion Criteria:
- 25 to 35 years old having SSN at time of examination and able to read and understand English or Spanish.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Diagnosed cardiovascular diseases (e.g., congenital heart disease, coronary heart disease) or severe asthma or other chronic lung disease.
- History of cancer other than non-melanoma skin cancer.
- Currently pregnant.
The Lung PCA: A Multi-Dimensional Atlas of Pulmonary Premalignancy
Pre-screening of veteran and non-veteran subjects at high risk for the development of lung squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) will be identified and enrolled to undergo serial bronchoscopies at 12-month intervals over a 2-3 year period. Participation is voluntary, and patients will be apprised of their condition over the course of the bronchoscopies to ensure they receive quality health care for their condition, cancerous or not.
Research About the Potential for the Contraceptive Implant as Emergency Contraception
- Participation will last up to 6 weeks and consist of visits around the time of ovulation for transvaginal ultrasounds and blood draws.
- Visits include insertion of a birth control implant containing etonogestrel.
Investigating the Role of the Endocannabinoid System in Joint Pain
Healthy controls or people with knee osteoarthritis are needed for a single 4mL blood draw at the Barbara Davis Center to compare the body's natural endocannabinoid levels between the two populations. The study visit will take 10 minutes and we will send you a $15 Amazon gift card to thank you for participating.

Volunteers are needed for a research study regarding how the loss of testosterone affects the heart and artery function in men.

Healthy non-smoker man or woman (not pregnant) aged 20-40 years old. Premenopausal women must be on continuous oral contraception pills. Habitually sleep 7-9 hours/night and No night shift work in the past year.
